We had a nice trip to
Borobudur, a Buddhist temple and
the largest monument in
the southern hemisphere.
The terraces symbolize the
path to Nirvana. Fortunately
it was overcast and not
too hot. We had a short train
ride along the way.
We had a police escort for
our convoy of at least
three busses both ways and
it was really
interesting coming back.
I’m not sure if we were
sometimes going the wrong
way but we very well
could have been. I saw
lots of cars and scooters pulled
over to let us pass. It
was a long bus but adventurous
bus ride.
