Today we tendered at Lembar, Lombok. We shared a
car with a couple from Australia. We went by a monument
fountain that was called the “courting monument”
(don’t here that word often these days) where people go
to meet hopefully a significant other. Our guide said he
met
his wife there.
We stopped at a weaving village. The women must learn
to weave or they cannot get a husband. I really would
have
been out of luck. The weaving demonstration was
interesting
and looked very difficult to me.
Other ladies were preparing a meal because of a death in
the village.
